This cherry sour lambic style ale has a bright glazed red cherry appearance and has a sour puckerness to it. It tastes like a warhead candy (for those who remember them) but not the super sour one.
This challenging little brew will have you thinking ‘what the fuck were the Belgians thinking when they created this ‘kriek’ style of brewing?’ This requires dedication to drink and at only 5% you will wonder why you persist. The answer is simple my friend, because you drink good beer for taste and flavour and not to get pissed. This also is good to confuse a cider loving girlfriend who thinks it looks like it would be “sweeter”. The response is “I’m already too sweet baby, hence why in drinking this sour motherfucker”.
