It’s Oktoberfest and Rocks have made this Dunkelweizen. Blending Dunkel style with a hefeweizen, this one is a little more carbonated than I’d expected. Little malty and roasty with crisp refreshness. I remember a drinking session at the Lowenbrau where a friend of mine was drinking Diesels – Coca Cola mixed with a hefeweizen and this reminds me of that beer just without the Coke (thank goodness). This really should be in a stein glass being served by a busty buxom bar maid in lederhosen.
