Pour: Toffee rubiness in colour with a good head on pour that lasts for quite some time.
Made from the same recipe as the Westvleteren 12 and not surprisingly, tastes the same. A little less sweetness but a little more carbonated than the Westie (yeah I’m nicknaming it). I can’t say I got the same warming sensation as the Westie but it still has a rich flavour that suits a strong ale. As a cheaper alternative it works but I’m leaning towards the original Westvleteren.
