Pour: Light golden colour with a small bubbly, white head.
Bit of a throwback to the old days of beer in Australia where your beer was either a draught or a bitter. QLD had XXXX, Victoria had VB, Western Australia had West End and New South Wales had Tooheys New. Those beers were simple, didn’t pack a lot of flavour and were designed to just drink by the schooner full. This beer has a earthy bitterness to it. I feel like this would be right at home in the early 80s, drinking it by the tin, sitting on the hill of local footy ground watching the game on a Sunday arvo before heading home to the missus and a roast dinner.
