Hope Estate – Sunny Boy Sour

Brewery: Hope Estate in Polkobin, NSW

Style Sour

ABV 9%

Rate Beer:  No rating yet

Pour: Deep orange colour with a big white head

A big, citrus orange aroma. It initially tastes like a orange cordial where the ratio is more cordial than water and then add the mouth puckering sourness on top. It’s almost thick to drink like an imperial stout with the tartness smacking you on the back end. From what I remember, it does resemble a Sunny Boy ice block but sharpness of the sourness really messes with your tastebuds and memories of that ice block. It’s a challenging beer and I love that

I drink beer. And occasionally I'll write about it. But mostly, I drink beer.
