Deep amber colour with reddish hues and off white head. Big malty caramel aromas with this beer. Silky smooth mouthfeel with a high lever of sweetness. The alcohol is hidden within the character of this beer given the 8% ABV. At times this brings up memories of a Belgian strong tale or English Barleywine. This is a great beer to have to finish off an evening after a medium rare rib eye steak with rosemary roasted potatoes and steamed green beans. A nice red wine jus to compliment the steak. When that bad boy is put away and desert was half eaten, this beer is the night cap to end the night.
