Rich, coffee brown in colour. Notes of chocolate come in under a big hop profile. A combination of noble bittering hops and new world aromatic hops to bring a real delight to the senses. I’ve been craving a brown ale for a little while now and Five Barrel delivered this gem. Hopheads will appreciate this beer and dark beer lovers will also get a kick out of this brown ale. I know brown ales aren’t cool compared to their hazy brethren, but this beer geek is really enjoying this beer. Brown ales are good beers when you find the right one and this, my beer friends, is the right American brown ale.
