Tasting Notes
Pours a clear yellow/straw colour with a big white head. Sweet malty aromas backed by a crisp finish. Grainy malt flavours dominate with a subtle noble hop aroma and flavour. Quite sweet and slick mouthfeel. Banana esters present adding to the sweetness of the beer. This is basically a clear Weissbier which goes against the norms but also works perfectly. Hell, it’s Weihenstephan, one of the worlds oldest breweries. I’m pretty sure they know what the fuck they are doing and how to make a pretty damn good beer. When Octoberfest comes around, you need to get on these German beers.
