So I thought this year I’d jump on the bandwagon with a 2019 Beer In Review.
My first trip to Australia’s most southern state as apart of my birthday celebration meant a chance to visit some of Hobart’s growing brewery scene. Given the trip I knew of two I had to visit and given basically a day to be driven around, quickly found a couple more to drop in on as well.
Warm winters day. Sun shining. Perfect conditions to go down to old Henson Park and watch the mighty Bluebaggers, the Newtown Jets run around and drink some craft beers!
This is a great little pub crawl that you can knock off pretty easy on a Sunday afternoon sesh.

The Great Australasian Beer SpecTapular is literally craft beer Christmas. A day dedicated to the wonderful industry that is beer and craft beer. Over 170 beers brewed specifically for the event, over 60 brewery exhibitors and that’s just a part of the festivities that goes on at GABS.
Besides Belgian ales, they also make some great craft cocktails. Simple food offerings, but the focus is on their quality brews.
