An imperial stout style IPA with strong dark chocolate flavours along with coffee bean and roasted barley flavour. Smoky/ashen aftertaste. Good to let sit and breath before consuming like a stout or porter. Brewed with Chinook and Centennial hops and Midnight wheat malt to give it that heavy dark look.
First time I had this beer I thought it was a porter. It has more porter qualities than it does a black IPA. It’s a warm full flavoured beer that would go well as an after dinner beer. Feet up, maybe some dark chocolate to nibble on.
