Jet black with a white head. Citrus hop aromas with a hint of malty roastiness. A beautiful jet black colour. First sip is surprisingly smooth and almost silky for a IPA that hits over 11%. Perfectly balanced with a sense of warming alcohol right at the very end. I wasn’t expecting this to be so damn delicious but here we are. This is beer that I was expecting to sip casually on throughout the evening, but I’m finding I want to take bigger and bigger mouthfuls as I go along. A fantastic beer by the Hope crew.
